If you already have low FPS you might begin to experience micro stutters. Essentially, changing Low Latency Mode to Ultra removes a rendering buffer that usually assists in providing smooth gameplay. If your hardware is a bit older or not very strong, you might actually be hindered by changing this to Ultra. Here's a video describing Response Time vs Input Latency as well Input latency can range from ~20ms - 45ms generally and changing this setting can significantly improve those numbers You might be aware of monitor "Response Time" and graphic "Input Latency", this setting effects the latter. It was added to the control panel about a year ago? And its "off" by default.

This setting is awesome and I can't believe I didn't know about it until now. Right click on your desktop -> Nvidia Control Panel -> Manage 3D Settings -> Low Latency Mode -> Set to Ultra
